Morten Kalvenes, 47, did not work long after arriving in Brann. Next year, he found a former colleague of Åsane in Bodø.

By mid-October, he had not extended the contract with Brann after two years as a Brann 2 coach.

Now, BA reports that Kalvenes moves north of Bodø to join the Bodø / Glimts training squad.

There, he finds Kjetil Knutsen. The duo worked together at Åsane in 2015 and 2016. Knutsen became an assistant coach at Glimt before becoming head coach last fall.

"Once the time spent at Åsane ended, we agreed to work together again – it came a little faster than I thought," says Kalvenes to BA.

Bodø / Glimt Mountain this year places it in Eliteserien with a margin of three points.

When it became clear that Kalvenes had finished at Brann, he was aware that he would continue to work with football "at a good level". This level now seems to be the Elites series.

"There is no drama behind my decision. The collaboration at the Academy and against Team A worked well and I enjoyed the stadium." Kalvenes said that he should leave Brann.

Calves and Lisbeth's wife move according to the BA in Bodø from the New Year.

"I lived in Bergen, did my studies in Bergen, played and coached football in Bergen and got married in Bergen." It might be good to try something else, he explained. He explains why he is leaving Western Norway now.

In a press release posted on Glimt's website, Kalvenes said his offer was an opportunity he could not refuse.
