New general manager employed in the ski area

Ingvild Bretten Berg (45) has been appointed Secretary General of the Board of Directors of the Norwegian Ski Federation (NSF).

She has held this position since September 1 of this year and worked for the Ski Federation as Head of Department, Head of Organization and Deputy Secretary General.

"It has been a painstaking process, together with an external agency, in selecting the important work of the Secretary General.Many good candidates have been considered before the elections fall on Bretten Berg.

"She is very knowledgeable about the organization, the complexity and the whole thing – it is safe, factored, aware of the need for openness and demonstrates great integrity," says the ship's chairman, Erik Røste.

"I feel privileged and fortunate to get what I consider to be one of Norway's most exciting jobs.

"I am really looking forward to contributing to the future development of ski rights, both in terms of our membership base and the development of the organization to meet the demands of tomorrow. a harmonious, comprehensive and effective organization that continues the good work done today, "said the new Secretary General, Ingvild Bretten Berg.

Bretten Berg has spent most of his career at all levels of the sport.

She was the Executive Director of the Triathlon Association, a training chain, and became more involved in the team as a coach, judge and electoral representative. Today, she is the head coach of an annual cross – country course in Kjelsås.

She holds a master's degree in organization and management from the Norwegian School of Sport, Fundamental Studies, Political Science and BI Economics. For several years, she also worked in the media sector.
