According to a Norwegian press release, airline passengers worldwide have again designated Norway as the best low-cost airline in the world.

For the fifth consecutive year, a Norwegian wins the "SkyTrax World Airline Award", the most prestigious and recognized award in the airline industry, according to the message.

– I am very happy that we have again been chosen as the best low cost airline in the world. I would like to thank our passengers from around the world who voted for Norwegian. This would have never been possible without all my dedicated colleagues, both on the air and in the field, every day of the year to work to provide our customers with the best possible experience. This is further proof that our passengers are enjoying low prices, good service and newer and more environmentally friendly flights, says Norwegian CEO Bjørn Kjos in the report.

– This award is a recognition of the tremendous work that Norwegian employees do every day for their clients. The concept of low cost Norwegian has become a favorite of customers and this price is the proof, says Edward Plaisted, CEO of SkyTrax, in the message.

Kjos received the award in Paris today with Norwegian colleagues.
