Only one Norwegian was allowed to order this

It's not just electric cars that record record sales in Norway during the day. It also makes cars on the other side of the scale. In other words, those who have a big gas engine, a rumbling sound and a lot of mediocre factors.

The most powerful models of Mercedes, signed AMG, are an example. Last year, a record number of AMG models were sold here ashore, and it does not appear that the peak has been reached.

In 2015, Mercedes launched its first AMG GT model. Today, the GT gay family has grown and today counts 16 different members. Who could get the most out of it is the brand new AMG GT R Roadster.

Only 750 copies

The car is based on the GT R Coupé, which is one of the fastest models ever produced by Mercedes. And what are you doing to make an already spectacular car a little brighter? Well, you cut the roof.

Under the hood of the new GT R Roadster, we find the AMG V8 of four liters. It provides 585 hp and 700 Nm. Just 0-100 km / h is disappointed in 3.6 seconds.

Mercedes-AMG GT R Roadster

engine: V8, biturbo 4 liters, gasoline. 585 horsepower (6,250 rpm), 700 Nm (2,100 to 5,500 rpm) Drills and bands: 83.0 x 92.0 mm Compression ratio: 9.5: 1 gearbox: AMG Speedshift DCT 7G 0-100 km / h: 3.6 seconds. Maximum speed: 317 km / h. consumption: 12.5-12.4 l / 100 km Price: Not known

The top speed is at least as impressive. Here, the speedometer needle stops only up to 317 km / h! It should be more than enough in an open car.

If you are unlucky and you drive a bird during this trip, it is tempting to use the "bird strike" – which we like to associate with a plane. So fast!

Even for AMG, the newcomer is not trivial. Therefore, it has already been decided that the car will be built only in 750 copies. It is therefore relatively modest for Mercedes, which has delivered more than 2.3 million (!) New cars worldwide in 2018.

Mercedes hair dryer this year.

Come to Norway

In other words, it's a car that's going to be stolen. It is no less obvious that anyone who wishes has the same chance and the opportunity to buy. That the exclusive super-convertible "is allowed" to enter Norwegian soil has long been uncertain.

Now, however, Broom has confirmed that a copy would be found in Norway during the year.

We do not know who is the proud owner, but the person who becomes the only member of the Facebook group "AMG GT Roadster Owners Norway R" is hardly in doubt.

The price of madness is not clear either, but we are inclining some 2.3 million NOK, since a standard GT R (if it is allowed to talk about standard) costs 2.2 million.

Here we test the AMG GT C Roadster in western Norway.

Developed in orbit

In addition to huge forces, the AMG GT R also features driving characteristics that smell like burnt.

The car has been tested and developed at the Nürburgring in Germany, one of the most demanding racing circuits in the world.

Here, the coupe edition put the time at 7: 10.92, which is faster than including the Ferrari 488 GTB and Lamborghini Huracan with 610 hp.

While the new GT R Roadster sits on the same car, there are many reasons to suggest that the driving characteristics should be related to the forces.

If you can enjoy it on Norwegian roads? Certainly not, but the acceleration up to the speed limit, the sound and the impression of driving such a unique car – are obviously worth it, which will soon approach 2.5 million pieces of equipment.

New rule: you can now save a lot of money on the dream car
