You never doubt what kind of car it is, even if it is new everywhere. Those who do not know the cars in depth will probably have to look twice to separate it from its predecessor. There is no doubt that the design is timeless.

In terms of internal code, it makes more sense than in the previous generation to go from 997 to 991, you just have to trace one now and you'll reach 992 as it's called.

The Carrera S and Carrera 4S are the first and they receive for the first time a two-turbo three-liter boxer, now with 450 hp – a 30% increase over the previous generation. The cancer is transmitted through a newly developed eight-stage dual-clutch gearbox.

The Carrera S rear-wheel drive accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.7 seconds while the 4S is faster. In both cases, this means an improvement of 0.4 seconds compared to the predecessors. If you are looking for the Sport Chrono package, the time is 0.2 seconds.

The maximum potential speed is 308 km / h (Carrera S) and 306 km / h, respectively, and the average fuel consumption after NEDCorr is 0.89 and 0.9 liters per mile.

Now, average consumer spending is now at the top of the list of priorities for those who buy a 911 – or maybe it is? Porsche is doing its utmost to raise awareness on this subject. You will hear more if you stick to yourself.

The exterior design is brand new and highlights the enhanced performance of the 911 type 992. The screens have become much wider than the 20-inch front wheels and the 21-inch rear wheels. The fence now has the same width as all model variants to highlight the thin center section.

At the front, the body is wider than 45 mm. The door handles are placed in the doors and unfolded electrically. Between the LED headlights is a retracted armor that highlights the design of the new 911.

The hook is dominated on all models with a significantly wider, automatic (or manual) spoiler and an elegant light-emitting diode light strip that extends from side to side. Aside from the front and rear, the bodywork is now entirely aluminum.

The interior is characterized by a neat dashboard with a minimum of levers and switches. The tachometer is centrally located, like on a 911, and is surrounded by two frameless digital displays where you get the information you want.

The infotainment system at the top of the dashboard has a diameter of 10.9 inches. Below you will find a compact unit with five switches to access the most important functions.

When it comes to scanning, 911 takes a new step forward in the future by providing ongoing connectivity, new features, and new services. By default, a swarm data-based navigation is included in Porsche Connected Plus.

Standard is also a new wet mode that detects the presence of water on the roadway and informs the driver of a slippery roadway. He or she can then press a switch that puts the car in wet mode.

Automatic emergency braking is also standard. The system detects if there is a risk of collision and, if necessary, automatically brakes the car.

Regarding accessories, the new 911 can be delivered for the first time with Night Vision with the help of a thermal camera to detect "invisible" objects before you can see them.

Adaptive cruise control includes automatic remote control and stop / drive function.

Porsche Road Trip helps car enthusiasts plan, organize and navigate. The proposed route includes exclusive hotels and restaurants, as well as tourist sites and interesting stops.

Porsche Impact is an emissions calculator that calculates the amount of CO2 emitted, calculates the corresponding amount and offers certified companies to invest to improve their awareness.

The Norwegian importer has already set prices for the new 911 models. A Carrera S costs between $ 1,615,900 and $ 1,712,900 for the all-wheel-drive model. This represents an increase of just over 100,000 crowns compared to the current model.
