A train with about 100 passengers on board took a truck and tracked it on Rørosbanen north of Koppang. Many are injured, but their gravity is uncertain.

The inner police district was announced at 14:09. They confirm that bodily harm has been reported, but the scope of application has not been clarified.

"We are now working on the evacuation," police wrote in a press release.

NSB Press Officer Åge-Christoffer Lundeby is one of the passengers on the train. He states that there are about 100 passengers on board and that 3-4 roads are broken.

"There are personal injuries and I see that someone has cuts and that he should control his health." I spoke to the driver and he is fine. The police are there with the firefighters, he told NTB.

The route is closed and NSB strives to find an alternative means of transport, both for those on board the train and for those traveling with Rørosbanen.

"A wheel is gone and the train can not be moved as it is now," Lundeby said.

The press guard of Harry Korslund, of Bane Nors, reported that the accident had occurred in a plane crossing Koppang and Atna. He says that it will take time to clean up after the accident.

– As a result of the collision, the train set drew with an axle. That means we have a lot of storage work ahead of us, "said Harry Korslund, press officer for Eastern Landing.
