Sigrid wins the composer's award with "Do not kill me"

TONO is behind the award, which was distributed this year for the twentieth time.

Besides Raabe / Sjølie, who won the hit actor's hit "Do not Kill My Vibe", Ola Kvernberg, Hip Hop Ivan Ave, Wisdom Marthe Wang and Contemporary Musician Jonas Skaarud are among the winners of l & # 39; year.

The prize is awarded to music performers and high quality artistic texts performed the year before. Each of the winners will receive 50,000 crowns as well as a diploma and trophy designed by Magne Furuholmen.

TONO created the Edvard Prize twenty years ago to educate people about Norwegian composers and writers.

"The award also helps us to improve the understanding and knowledge of Norwegian music recently written by Norwegians," said Willy Martinsen, head of communications at TONO.

Until now, 99 Edvard awards have been distributed.
