Several stones went through the window and walls of a house after an explosion at Lauvåsveien in Nedre Hunstad in Bodø.

Stones up to 20 kilos finished in the house and several stones entered the children's room.

Police said that there was no one inside the house when the incident occurred.

"The potential for damage is very important. There were more stones inside the house, but fortunately no one was at home.We had been told to go out before the explosion" said operations manager Remi Johansen to the Norwegian police at NRK.

The police are on site and discuss with the people involved, but have not yet a good answer on what is wrong. The explosion was made in a neighboring area. In addition, a mailbox holder and a lamp post received a hard drive after encountering the stones.

"We look very serious at such events, and we are now studying whether blasting routines have been followed," Kai Eriksen told the police.

When NRK was on the scene, a crying woman with a child in her arms entered the house to examine the wounds.
