In anticipation of the upcoming court proceedings, the Freedom Mission in Tromsø suspended Svein Ludvigsen's assassination.
Ludvigsen has for many years been an active and highly valued member of Freemasonry. While he was Minister of Fisheries in the 2000s, he had to withdraw, but he returned later, writes Nordlys.
However, since the January arrest, Ludvigsen has been suspended from his loyal activities. If he is sentenced in the upcoming criminal case, he will be excluded. He informed the provincial captain of the cabin at Tromsø Per Trygve Kongsnes at Nordlys.
"When the sentence was canceled and the police arrested, he was suspended under the laws and regulations of Freemasonry. He will be there until there is a sentence – or a friendship, "said Kongsnes.

He explains that the rules of the lodge stipulate that it is a six-month criminal offense of unconditional imprisonment that determines whether a member is suspended or possibly expelled.
"This case is tragic for all parties, but no one is convicted before the court renders its sentence," said Kongsnes, who has known Ludvigsen in his work for over 20 years.
"Svein has always been like a guy, a very committed person, in which I believe a lot," he says.
