Used Norwegian riders landed Thursday afternoon in Yekaterinburg after a long flight.
A boring logistical surprise was expected.
The plane was not ski skiers. German jumpers who traveled with the Norwegian also had the same problem.
Alexander Stöckl, the landscape coach, has crossed his fingers so that missing skiers do not pose any problems to his students.
"The sky is probably left in Moscow, but I hope it is not that bad, as long as we have skis tonight or tomorrow, it will be fine," he told NTB.
Friday afternoon, Norwegian time is the training session and qualifications scheduled in Nizjnij Tagil. Saturday and Sunday, there is an individual race.
The Norwegian team also lacked other equipment upon its arrival in Yekaterinburg.
"Some were delivered with the next plane, including a physiobox and a big bag," said Stöckl.
Thursday, the ski slope of Nizjnij Tagil was closed. It therefore did not apply at any time.
