The Rosenborg coach questions – this is Cool's judgment on his own time at RBK

By the end of July, RBK President Ivar Koteng had announced that the goal of the club was to clarify the coaching issue by 1 December at the latest. That's what he said a few days after Kåre Ingebrigtsen's kick.

Since Rosenborg played the cup final against Strømsgodset on Sunday, the deadline has been shifted by a few days. From the club's director position, Coolen became a temporary head coach this summer.

President Koteng recently told VG that he was working with several candidates for the coaching position at Lerkendal. He said that Coolen is on the list with two other names.

"If we do not have another coach, we already have a good coach here, so it's a luxury issue," Koteng said.

Rosenborg has a home game against Celtic in the European League on Thursday night. Three days later, Strømsgodset waits for the cup final at Ullevaal stadium.
