100 passengers on the train
Åge-Christoffer Lundeby, NSB press attaché, was on board the train when the accident occurred. He confirms to VG that there were injuries and three broken lines in the front car. There were about 100 passengers on the train.

The maximum speed is 140 kilometers at the hour, but most places on the Røros make the trains run a lot more slowly.
