100 people on board
Several injuries have been reported, but the rest of the damage is not known yet.
Åge-Christoffer Lundeby, NSB press officer, was a passenger on the train at the time of the collision.
A total of one hundred people should have been on board.
When Dagbladet spoke to him around 3:30 pm, he asked the police to hear witnesses at the scene of the accident.
– We are always on board. The police started to inform the passengers. It's the police who will communicate about everything, he says.
Someone shouted
He was in the first shot.
– There are four broken rows in the cabin. I think the train has traced right, he says.
"There was a glass break and some uncertainty right after it happened, and somebody was screaming, it happened very quickly and calmly, people were helping each other, and there was a lot of noise. The atmosphere seemed so calm, people are stable and help each other, he says.
He states that health staff and firefighters are on site.
evacuation
Police are working on the evacuation on the spot.
"I can confirm that there was a collision today around 14:10 on a plane crossing Koppang and Atna," said Bane Nor's press contact Harry Korslund in Dagbladet.
The train followed at the crossing, where there is a crossing between a track and a roadway.
– We were informed that they drew from a well. The train must therefore be lifted on the track according to storage and emergency preparedness.
"There was a collision and a trace, so it's probably a relatively strong smell," he says.
