The municipality of Oslo considers that the owner Ivar Tollefsen Fredensborg has not signed more than 600 apartments for municipal pre-emptive rights. He has revealed the business world of today recently.
"We forgot to report 12 property purchases, and we're sorry," Tollefsen said in an interview with TV 2, which was sent last week.
"There is a small lottery ticket or a big lottery ticket for many individuals, and we have no problem," Tollefsen told TV 2 last Wednesday.
Now the billionaire has turned. The reason is that a broker must have clarified the preemption right by phone when selling the Sanderterrass in 2006. Tollefsen and Fredensborg believe that the oral clarification holds and that it will not give anyway "lottery winnings" to residents.
The municipality of Oslo disagrees with an oral clarification.
– No, certainly not. This must be done in writing, and there is also a long list of documents that need to be added to the message, says the director of the real estate agency of the Municipality of Oslo, Eskil Bråten, for TV 2.
Several politicians reacted to the affair, including Councilor Ivar Johansen (SV) and Group Leader Eivor Evenrud in Rødt.
