The case is being updated.

It was 4:46 am that Trøndelag police on Twitter reported that two people had been arrested after a short car chase.

– A patrol testified that the person had filed a gasoline bill. As a result, the car was persecuted and finally arrested. A woman and a man were arrested. It also turned out that the car had been stolen, said Kirsten Bergstrøm, head of operations at the Trøndelag Police District.

Without drama

The car chase was from Klett, where they had first been sighted, and was heading for Trondheim. Then the ride went up around Selsbakk before the car stopped. There should not have been any tragedy related to the pursuit.

"It is also suspected that the driver was in an affected state, so a blood test is also available," says Bergstrøm.

Promille at Steinkjer

During the night, a young driver was also arrested and reported for driving in the affected state to Mære i Steinkjer. It was 14:20. The police were informed of a car where it could be a prelude.

– A patrol had tips and so watched the car before it stopped. According to Bergstrom, a 20-year-old woman reportedly drove while impaired.
