"It's the driver of the truck who lost his life," said Bård Einar Hoft, head of operations in the NTB Domestic Police District.
Two other people are confirmed injured. Hoft tells them that they were aware and that they were taken to the Innlandet Hospital in Elverum with moderate injuries.
The police are now using to alert their loved ones of the dead and police are on hand to conduct investigations.
"It's too early to say anything about the course of events and the relationship with the dead," said Hoft.

The press guard of Harry Korslund, of Bane Nors, reported that the accident had occurred in a plane crossing Koppang and Atna. He says that it will take time to clean up after the accident.

NSB reports that the route is closed between Atna and Koppang and that a bus and a taxi are installed on the route.
