Biozin Holding will build a new biofuel production plant in Åmli, Aust-Agder, and collect 1.2 billion Norwegian kroner with the aim of becoming operational in 2022, writes DN.

"The plant will create 70 new jobs and cost $ 3.5 billion and the CO2 savings will be measured at 90% compared to the use of fossil-based crude oil," said Thomas Skadal. , General manager.

According to the newspaper, Biozin Holding was founded a few years ago by Norway's second largest sawmill, Bergene Holm, to produce biohazard with advanced bio-oil.

Crude oil should be made from forest raw materials, such as forest residues, deciduous trees, bark and sawmill by-products.

According to DN, Bergene Holm has forged close cooperation with Preem, Sweden's biggest oil company.

– Biozin will be a good product for boats and planes. Preem has already concluded an agreement with SAS for the delivery of biofuels, "says Skadal.

President Olav Falk-Pedersen told the newspaper that the company planned to create 4 to 5 factories in Norway and invest more than ten billion dollars.
