YS postponed the bank and insurance deal with Gjensidige on Tuesday, according to a message sent on Tuesday.
The amount of the contract amounts to 1.4 billion crowns in annual insurance premium.
– Our members will have the best banking and insurance offers. We had a complete process with different suppliers, and we found that Gjensidige has the best package for us. We are now looking forward to a new period of agreement, with even better conditions for our members, "said Hans-Erik Skjäggerud, Senior Deputy Director of YS.
"We are very proud and happy that YS is showing us this confidence and we look forward to continuing this good cooperation, and together with YS we will further develop the offer," said Helge Leiro Baastad, CEO of Gjensidige.
The agreement will come into effect on January 1, 2019 and will last six years.
