  1. Education is one of the few pathways out of poverty, one of the few pathways one can change their social class. I find it so sad, the cost for tuition is dramatically higher now than in my generation 30 years ago. Higher education should be really hard but merit based, as it was in the past.

  2. EDUCATION –AUTO-DIDACTICALLY OR IN SCHOOLS, EQUALS TOTAL FREEDOM — OBAMA SHOULD HAVE LEARNED, AN EDUCATED MIND USES REASON AND LISTENS TO HIS CONSCIENCE. THE EDUCATED MIND DOES NOT THROW OPINIONS BASED ON FEELINGS ONLY. "I ONLY KNOW I KNOW NOTHING" REMEMBER THAT, IF YOU HAVE BRAIN!

  3. This dude talkin bout chains and injustice, whilst graduating from harvard! I never had a prayer of going to harvard. That being said, some beautiful poetry. Some people get to go to college for free, and with lower test scores. That's reality. And that's all well and good, but at least show gratitude for your opportunity, and don't pretend to be held down

  4. We know who the thumbs down are from–white trash bigots that can't fight their feelings of inferiority to this intelligent young black man. They long for the days of their grandparents, when even the most educated African-Americans had to keep their heads down when facing even the most ignorant, illiterate white person. Trump's base felt empowered as he gave them hope that they could bring back that shameful time in US history.

  5. Amazing, inspiring, exploding beyond the limitations of our unjust society and specious, hateful government — bravo! Bravo! I've often said that I believe in our young people. They're going to rock this world! Here's just one reason why — teachers shape the future!
