The last trick is accessible from the PC. You can download all photos saved in Google Photos at the same time using the Place tool. Go to google.com/takeout and simply add Google Photos to Google's list of services. In this same screen, choose whether you want to download all the photos or just a specific album. Then click on "Next". Choose the type of compression, the maximum file size, and the display method: if you want to receive a link by email or send it to a cloud storage service. Then click on "Create a file" and wait for the preparation to finish. When your package is ready, simply click "Download" and you're done.
