This Sunday, April 16, the 0.7% increase in the value of diesel in refineries and terminals Petrobras began to take effect. The average price of fuel became R $ 1,8115 per liter, valid until the last day of December. The increase, informs the state enterprise in a note, stems from the application of the methodology established by the National Agency of Oil, Gas and Biofuels (ANP) in resolution no. 743/2018.
The readjustment reflects the arithmetical average of Petrobras' untaxed diesel prices at its refineries and terminals in the country. This new period of the subsidy program continues to provide for the adjustment of regional average prices (South, South Central West, North without Tocantins and Northeast with Tocantins).
The company also announced to have received Friday (14) the payment of the economic subsidy for the marketing of diesel, amounting to 665.4 million R $, relating to the third period of the third phase of the program, September 30 to October 29.
The impact of the increase in retail diesel prices will depend on each station. As a result, the effect on consumer price indices (CPIs) is indirect.
In the latest data from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), the General Price Index – 10 (IGP-10) in December showed a decrease of – 12.14% in diesel, after a decline of 2.22% in November. The IGP-10 yielded 1.23%, compared to 0.16% in the last month of the year.
