This afternoon, a 19-year-old boy died after drowning in a swimming pool at a Varginha club, in southern Minas Gerais (13). The victim was saved, but died while going to the hospital.
The accident occurred at the Varginha Tennis Club (VTC) in the center of the city. Before the arrival of the mobile emergency service (Samu) and the fire department, the resuscitation process was carried out by swimmers who were in the club.
The victim was taken to Bom Pastor Hospital, but did not resist and died before being admitted to the health center.
