The lawyer and former deputy Luiz Carlos Sigmaringa Seixas died Tuesday (25) in São Paulo, at the age of 74 years. He was hospitalized at Hospital Sírio-Libanês, where he performed a bone marrow transplant to fight against myelodysplasia – a type of bone marrow failure in cell production.
According to the family, he was able to graft himself, but with a weak compatibility. After the operation, the lawyer was found with low immunity and was attacked by an infection.
The burial of Sigmaringa Seixas will take place in Brasilia. The date of the funeral has not been reported yet.
