The full schedule of the 28th edition of the Garanhuns Winter Festival (FIG) was announced Thursday (28). The eveto is organized by the Secretariat of Culturra de Pernambuco (Secult-PE) and Foundation of the Historical and Artistic Heritage of Pernambuco (Fundarpe). There will be more than 500 attractions in 21 poles of all artistic languages for ten days. The grid will have names like Maria Rita, Vanessa da Mata, Gaby Amarantos, Johnny Hooker, Nação Zumbi and Diogo Nogueira.
Considered as one of the country's largest arts and cultural events, the FIG is set to unfold from July 19 to 28 in the town of Agreste. The theme of this edition will be "To live to freedom", to give visibility to the freedom of artistic creation and thought to artists and their works. The main scene of the party takes place on Plaza Guadalajara, the Dominguinhos scene. It will also receive attractions such as Cordel do Fogo Encantado, Zumbi Nation, Emicida and ATTTØXXÁ.
The festival dedicated to several cultural languages is realized in partnership with the City Council of Garanhuns, the SESC-PE, the SEBRAE, the Conservatory of Music of Pernambuco and the Cepe Editora. Singer Belchior was the grand prize winner of the last edition and had two special nights dedicated to his repertoire in the Dominguinhos stage performances.
