Renault is tired of selling renowned Dacia cars, according to the French newspaper Le Figaro. Sandero, Logan and Duster, Dacia's original products, form the trio that has made Renault grow on the national market at the level it is today. And in the future, all of this will evolve into a strategy similar to that of Captur.

According to the newspaper, Renault will not use slightly modified Dacia models in emerging markets. The idea is to follow what has been done with Captur: 100% Renault visual with Dacia platform and low cost solutions. Today, the Dacia Sandero is significantly different from the Renault Sandero – the difference will increase even more with the new Brazilian rear.

In the future, Sandero, Logan and Duster will only share the name and platform with the Dacia cousins, with Renault models closely linked to the look of the European division of the brand . The Duster, which will be released soon in Brazil, will be the last of this complete synergy. In the meantime, the average SUV promised for 2020, called Captur Coupé, is already part of the new strategy.
