Gerdau concludes the sale of assets in Chile

Gerdau concluded Friday the sale of three long steel mills and a distribution network in Chile to a group of investors in the country, said the Brazilian steel group.

The case had been announced by Gerdau in May and involved units with a total production capacity of 520 thousand tons of recycled long steel. At the time, Gerdau reported that the agreement was approved for $ 154 million.

The group of investors who kept the badets is formed by Ingeniería e Inversiones Limitada; Reyosan Investments; Los Andes S.A. of Inversiones, and Matco Cables.
