Libyan security forces transport babies after the sinking of 100 people died in the waters of Mediterranean because of the sinking of the inflatable boat with which they tried to reach Europe, Libya reported on Friday (29) United Nations Migration Agency (IOM) .
According to the local Coast Guard, the sinking occurred Thursday (28) in the night, 25 nautical miles from the Libyan town of Qarabuli, starting point of the ship.
According to Flavio Di Giacomo, an IOM spokesperson, the number of missing persons is still unknown.
At least 100 migrants died a shipwreck occurred off Tripoli. 3 young children among the dead. The current number of missing remains uncertain.
Saving lives at sea is the number one priority: all rescue vessels currently operating in the Mediterranean are ALWAYS needed.

"On the boat, some 120 people were traveling, most of them Sub-Saharan nationals, but there were also Moroccans and Yemenis, so far the bodies of three babies have been recovered, "said the Coast Guard of Libya.
"16 other people were saved alive.All are young men who were taken to a detention center in the Al Hamdiya area, 25 kilometers east of Tripoli, where they are treated for various injuries
