SP 247 – The former mayor of São Paulo, Fernando Haddad, campaign coordinator of former President Lula, was constituted as a lawyer for the Former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who is in political prison since April 7 in Curitiba.
Haddad graduated in law from the Largo São Francisco School of USP and is regularly enrolled with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB). As a former president's attorney, the former mayor is able to visit Lula every day and, therefore, dispatch issues from the election campaign without the Help from intermediaries.
In charge of the government pre-candidacy program of Lula, former mayor represented the PT in debates and sabatinas across the country – sharing the role with Gleisi Hoffmann, president of the PT, and Emídio de Souza, treasurer of the legend and pre-candidate for the deputy state.
