Few devices have created an air of mystery like the Surface Phone, being Microsoft's device speculated a few years ago and long seen as "the savior of the motherland" for Windows Mobile. Windows Phone has been discontinued and Windows 10 Mobile as we know it, but apparently Microsoft has not yet abandoned on this category, with rumors about the device becoming more common and more concrete.
The last comment involving the Surface Phone, it's an email leaked where Microsoft comments on the existence of a "Pocket Surface", which is enough to sharpen the # Imagination of fans of the brand. In addition, many patents have finally generated very interesting device concepts, and apparently one of them has come close to the prototypes seen by the press, at least according to the staff of The Verge

Of course the ergonomics will not be the same, but we will have something close to what Sony has done with its iconic Xperia Play without needing to have physical control coupled with the smartphone.
Unfortunately, there is no official comment from Microsoft the existence of the surface phone, so there is no way to know if the final product will have any relationship with the ideas delivered by David Breyer. Still, the claim that the designer is on track with his concept is at least encouraging for fans of the brand, remaining waiting for more details to see until where the artist has hit.
