A man fired gasoline and burned a car parked in front of his garage Saturday afternoon (30), Zapará Street, Vila Madalena, west of São Paulo. Creative Commons License
Police and firefighters were hastily summoned to contain the flames, leaving the Honda HR-V model vehicle in a state of total loss.
The car belongs to Ângelo Leibovici, owner of a restaurant on Mourato Coelho street, one block above. He denies that his car was blocking the garage.
"I always park here on Saturday because of a fair in the street Mourato Coelho, another car, while maneuvering, eventually push mine, but the pbadage does not in any way been embarrbaded, "he says.
The suspect, whose identity was not disclosed, was arrested for clarification. According to witnesses, he is a reserve soldier and was drunk. The case was registered in the 14th police district, in the district of Pinheiros
