Death of a young woman with a rare disease at the Cuiabá Hospital

The young Sérgio Luiz Ferreira da Silva, 19, died Sunday evening (1) at Júlio Muller University Hospital in Cuiabá

"Serginho", as it was known, had Epidermis Bullosa, an illness rare genetics characterized by a great sensitivity in the skin. For this reason, several tumors have appeared in his body. This time, however, he was hospitalized after three episodes of anemia.

The boy became popular in Grande Cuiabá, still a teenager, when he began giving lectures on the valorization of life, becoming an example for many who knew him.

Due to illness, Serginho had the appearance of a child and was in a wheelchair. In 2017, he had to amputate one of his legs because of a knee tumor.

The wake of Serginho will take place in the Santo Antonio chapel, Várzea Grande. Funeral will take place at 4 pm
