The last eruption of the Agung volcano on the island of Bali, Indonesia, caused an ash column 5,000 meters high and caused Banyuwangi airport from Tuesday to the east of the island of Java, closed for landings and departures.
Activities were interrupted until 3:00 pm local time (5:00 am) on Tuesday (3), according to the airlines that operate in the terminal. The Banyuwangi Airport is about 125 kilometers west of the volcano.
