A California occupational safety agency announced Thursday it had opened a third investigation at the Tesla factory in Fremont after receiving a complaint.
The State Administration for Occupational Safety and Health stated to have opened the most recent file on June 21 but did not give details of the investigations except to confirm that they are active and in progress.
Jalopnik said Thursday that the investigation followed a complaint from one of the company's employees at the Fremont factory.
Agency spokeswoman, Erika Monterroza, opened the first investigation on April 12 after a serious injury.
The second investigation began on April 17, the day after the news site Reveal reported that Tesla's omissions in mandatory reporting had appeared to improve his safety record at work.
