After court decision, striking Unicamp servers leave the presbytery – National

By court order, officers of the Union of Unicamp Workers (STU) who occupied the presbytery of the University of Campinas (Unicamp) left the building on Friday morning 6. The Unicamp servers were on strike for 46 days.

The decision on the preliminary injunction was issued by the Judge of the Court of Public Finance of Campinas, Mauro Iuji Fukumoto, published in the afternoon of Thursday 5.

] Fukumoto also ordered that a new bargaining meeting be held between the parties within 24 hours of the vacancy of the parsonage. By mutual agreement, however, the two parties propose to the magistrate that this meeting be held next Tuesday 10.

In addition to the salary adjustment of 1.5% offered by the Council of Rectors of Universities State of So Paulo (Cruesp), the University proposed to increase food aid from 850 to 950 reais and the allocation of 10% of the levy on surpluses of ICMS in 2018 for application in the career plans of officials, professors and researchers.

On Wednesday 4, the same judge determined that a $ 5,000 fine had been imposed on the union after the blockade imposed by employees at the Unicamp entrances on the Baro Geraldo campus on June 29.
