The price of diesel has stopped falling in the country, according to the weekly survey on fuel prices published Friday (6) by the ANP (National Agency for Oil, Gas and Biofuels)
Last week, the liter of fuel was sold, on average in the country, at R $ 3,384, practically stable compared to R $ 3,389 per liter checked by the agency the previous week.
The amount is $ 0.211 lower than the one verified before the truckers' strike and $ 0.404 less than the one in effect during the first week of the downtime.
Depending on the category, the Temer government is committed to a reduction of R $ 0.46 per liter at the pump. To this end, it granted subsidies of R $ 0.30 to producers and reduced taxes by R $ 0.16, for a total cost of R $ 13.6 billion.
As of July 1, 13 states have begun to charge less for ICMS on diesel, reflecting lower prices in previous weeks. In some of them, however, the ANP has not yet detected any repercussions on the consumer of the reduction of the tax burden.
In the federal district, for example, the price of diesel rose 0.68 percent last week to $ 3.538 per liter. On the first day, the state reduced the reference price for ICMS collection from R $ 3,688 to R $ 3,562.

The denunciations of posts on the absence of retrocessions led the National Secretariat to consumers to notify seven fuel distributors, at the end of June, requests for clarification of their prices
The panel of experts in Triad badysis, however, questions the data of the lorries. ANP and says that in its survey, prices have already reached R $ 0.42 per liter at the end of June – considered by distributors as the largest possible relay before ICMS reductions.
The ANP's investigation showed that the price of gasoline was stable last week, at R $ 4,495 per liter, in the national average. The price of ethanol hydrated fell from 2,881 to 2,833 reais per liter
