Brazilians Felipe Nori Haggi Lacerda and Thais Soares Costa were stopped by doctors at Dr. Angel Marzetti Hospital in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Using forged documentation with the names of other professionals, the fake doctors earned about 114,000.00 Argentine pesos a month, which equals 15,400 reais reais, according to the newspaper La Nación.

Felipe Nori, 27, a student of Morón faculty, worked as a doctor for nine months, using the identity, registration and diploma of another Brazilian professional. In addition to acting as a call center employee, he has also worked as a model.

His true identity was only highlighted when he started filling out the paperwork to marry his boyfriend. Nori filed a modified marriage certificate, and when the hospital requested the original document, he quit his job and never returned.

After the discovery, the hospital reached an agreement with four other Brazilian doctors, who were in charge of the hospital, who did not submit the required documentation. Felipe and Taís respond by fraud, the use of false identity, the falsification of the public document, the illegal practice of medicine and the usurpation of titles and fees.

According to Diana Barcia, the hospital administrator, it is possible that other municipalities were also deceived: "We were cheated," he said. I think it can be extended to other health centers, "he said in an interview with Clarín.
