If you have upgraded your Chrome in the last days to version 68, you already have access to parts of the new design that should be officially deployed in the future. The novelty is hidden in the settings, but it's not difficult to activate it if you know what to do.
The new design of Elements of Chrome can already be seen in Chrome version 68 for desktops and iOS. Unfortunately, the android edition has not yet received the news, so you will have to wait a little longer.
When you activate the changes, the biggest news that will be noted is in the format of the address bar. Currently, it has a conventional rectangular shape, filled with white; in the new version it already has rounded corners and uses the gray color.
The new look had already been seen in the highly experimental version of Chrome that always brings the news of the browser first hand. This variant of the browser also brings a new identity to the navigation tabs, which are not yet available on Chrome 68.
Activation on the desktop
1. Access chrome: // flags / # top-chrome-md (copy the address, paste in the bar and press Enter)
2. In "User Interface Layout for Browser Chrome", replace the "Default" option with "Refresh"
3. Restart Chrome to see the changes
Activate on iOS
1. Access chrome: // flags / (copy the address, paste in the bar and press Enter)
2. Find "UI Refresh Phase 1" and select "Enabled"
3. Close Chrome and open again to see the change
