A cargo of 1.2 tons of cocaine, valued at R60 million if sold abroad, was seized by the Special Operations Battalion ( BOPE) of the military police of Paraná, in a shed in the city of São José dos Pinhais, in the metropolitan area of Curitiba, on Sunday (02). The drugs were handed over to the Curitiba Federal Police Directorate. The work was done with the support of new vehicles delivered to the prime minister by the state government last week.
The drug was located by teams of RONE (Special Nature Outer Rounds), a subunit of BOPE. Police acted with the support of new vehicles recently handed over to the military police by Governor Cida Borghetti.
