Residents of villages in the interior of Amazonas, they left their communities for the first time in their lives and traveled by boat for up to four days to carry out the process of unparalleled and specific selection to the natives of the capital Manaus.
"It's the first time I'm traveling, I've never been out of there, and I just came to do the test myself." It was amazing, radical, rather cool. the young woman from Ticuna, Lurdiane Agostinho Rocha, who sailed for four days from Benjamin Constant to Manaus to invest in the dream of going to the pharmacy and returning to the village to help her people.

"I must tell Professor Mario that his native law courses have helped me a lot in the exam," said Genivau Carioca Laranhaga, one of the anthropologist's apprentices when he visualized the professor at the end of the exam. The young person is also risky for the first time to leave the house to take care of the public administration after having read the selection process during the lessons.
For Suellen Cavalcante Fernandes, the unprecedented move had the peace of mind of having friends and brother in company. At the age of 16, he finished his studies this year in high school and already imagines in Campinas, in the process of feeding himself.
"I only knew cities in the area of my village and I also went to Colombia because I live near the border, so moving to Campinas will be difficult for me, but we have to endure it," says -he.
The journey made by the students of Benjamin Constant, tell the adventurers for the first time, takes place in a single boat, which crosses several municipalities of Alto Solimões in Manaus. During the four days, the pbadengers eat and sleep on the boat.
"I never left our community, I found it interesting, but I did not like the trip, it was annoying to travel by boat," complains the youngest teacher of Mário, Eucicleide Fernandes.
Although critical of the educational system that it presents but does not really include the Indian, the teacher dreams that the girls will be rewarded by this exhausting journey , with a positive result at the vesitbular level.
