RIO – A woman identified as Luana Beatriz Francisco was arrested on Saturday (8) on suspicion of having abandoned her own daughter a year in the middle of the street in Duque de Caxias. A few hours later, at the police station, she stated that the girl had been kidnapped but had finally been arrested for abandoning the helpless.
Images of security cameras show the moment when a woman left the child in Rua Taquari, Vila Leopoldina, in the morning. Confronted with the case, Luana said that the hijacker "was very similar". For the police, it is Luana who appears in the video.
Neighbors posted messages on social networks, asking for help. Soon, they had the idea to check the security camera. The pictures show a woman carrying the child in silence. More than two hours after the images were taken, Luana posted a message that her daughter had been abducted by a couple near the station.
