Egyptian authorities are investigating a video showing a couple climbing the Queóps pyramid, the largest in the Giza necropolis. The images were posted by Danish photographer Andreas Hvid (see below), who claims to be the man who appears.
He says that he had already tried to climb the pyramid with another escort, but that he had been prevented by security guards. He then made contact with friends in Denmark and another woman – who was not identified and who appeared blurred in the photos – was willing to try.
The images were taken at the end of November, according to the photographer, who told the Danish newspaper "Ekstra Bladet" to be currently in Asia. He further states that he does not intend to return to Egypt.
Increasing the controversy, the woman removes her blouse in the last scenes of the video. According to CNN, the couple appeared half naked, entwined, but currently available images only show the woman on her back, wearing a bra of her skin color.
Still according to the television channel, the Minister of Egyptian Antiquities, Khaled Al-Ana ni, has called the & D Q Q Chem Chem – – – – action of violation of public morality and stated that the incident and the video fe the subject of an investigation by the Attorney General.
Ashraf Mohi, general manager of the Giza Plateau, told Ahram Online that the video was false, as there is an 18 km walk around the pyramids and a reinforced security presence.
