SÃO PAULO – During a mbad, a man invaded Campinas Metropolitan Cathedral, inside São Paulo, killed four people and killed himself. Four other people were injured. The information comes from the Campinas fire department.
The deaths occurred in a large area of people surrounding the downtown core. According to firefighters, the suspect allegedly entered the cathedral with a pistol and revolver .38 thrown at people present and killed himself in front of the altar after the crimes.
The fatal victims were not identified and the police investigated the reasons for the crime. Teams of samu and firefighters were dispatched to the scene around 1:20 pm.
Images taken by security cameras show people taken care of by rescuers at the door of the church. The relatives of the people who were in the cathedral at the time of the shots seek information from the local authorities.
