On Tuesday (11), Mozilla released version 64 of its Firefox browser with news for users. It should be noted that the browser will be the only major browser not to join the Chromium platform after reformatting Microsoft Edge.
Among the major changes are smart recommendations for extensions. They consist of suggestions based on the habits of the Internet. Another new feature is Tab Management, which allows you to select multiple tabs to perform the same action – holding down the Ctrl key to mark them.
The "about: performance" tab has also started to display more information such that all guides and extensions are open, in addition to the energy expenditure of each. Mozilla's intention is to also show the RAM used in the future.
In macOS, the "about: crashes" option has been modified to allow the display of information more objectively and with changes to keyboard shortcuts.
To complete, under Android, the browser receives performance improvements to make the experience faster and more responsive to the user. Another change is to prevent the removal of downloads after uninstalling Firefox from your smartphone.
