The bodies of the victims of the cathedral massacre are veiled – every day

The wake of the victims of the Metropolitan Cathedral by shooter began this morning (12) in Campinas and Monte Mor. One day after the attack, two people are still hospitalized at the hospital Mário Gatti, one of them in serious condition.

Victim Sidnei Vitor Monteiro, 39, will be buried in the Parque das Flores cemetery at 1:30 pm. His funeral began at 5:20 in the morning.

The bodies of Cristofer Gonçalves dos Santos will be buried at 1 pm and those of José Eudes Gonzaga Ferreira at 3 pm at the Parque Nossa Senhora Conceição cemetery in Amarais.

The body of Elpídio Alves Coutinho is veiled in the Church of St. Domingos, in the town of Monte Mor. Funeral will be held at 4:30 pm at Monte Mor Municipal Cemetery.

Already the body of the shooter Euler Fernando Grandolpho is veiled in the Flamboyant Cemetery, in Campinas. There, two security guards only allow members of Euler's family to enter the premises. The body of Euler will be buried at 14:00.

The victims are: Sidney Vitor Monteiro, José Eudes Gonzaga Ferreira, Cristofer Gonçalves dos Santos and Elpídio Alves Coutinho.
José Eudes Gonzaga Ferreira is the husband of Maria de Fátima Frazão Ferreira, aged 68. She was shot in the left thigh and seen at HC (Hospital das Clínicas) in Unicamp (Campinas State University) and was already discharged.

Sidnei Vitor Monteiro is already the son of Jandira Prado Monteiro, 65, who was was struck in the chest and hand, but is out of danger and is under observation at the hospital Mário Gatti.

In addition to Jandira is hospitalized to Mario Gatti, Heleno Severo Alves, 84 years old. He was shot in the chest and abdomen, underwent surgery and is in the intensive care unit in a serious condition.

Ludar Brognoni, 64, was treated at the Hospital Beneficência Portuguesa and was discharged.
