A bomb threat prompted authorities to evacuate one of Facebook's headquarters buildings in Silicon Valley, California on Tuesday afternoon (11). After hours of searching, the buildings were released.

According to the Reuters news agency, the anonymous warning about a possible explosive arrived at the New York Police Department on the other side of the country. MPF reinforces Lula's demand for conviction in the murderer's case in Campinas: witnesses report moments of panic

The building was released overnight, after which nothing was found. "The mine clearance team went to the scene with sniffer dogs that haunted the building and found no packages or suspicious devices," police said.

Company officials do not have the suspect. A Facebook representative said that other buildings in the complex had also been emptied, but that they were all having a good time.

This is not the first time that a large company is facing security threats in Silicon Valley this year. In April, a woman opened fire on employees at YouTube headquarters, wounding three people and eventually killing herself.
