Third consecutive 0-day failure under Windows detected by Kaspersky Lab

Kaspersky uses automatic fault detection technologies. The latter has already encountered unknown vulnerabilities in Windows in October (CVE-2018-8453), known as Alice, and in November Windows 7 and Server 2008 are at risk and are known as Jasmine. Kaspersky's anti-virus antivirus technology signals a third exploit in the Windows kernel.

The detected failure (CVE-2018-8611) constitutes a major hazard to operating system users, a time exploits can be used to bypbad the mechanisms of mitigating malicious attacks in browsers thus exposing machines to risks.

Cyberattacks exploiting 0-day vulnerabilities, that is, gaps not yet discovered in systems, are particularly important. Damaged by the fact that there is still no way to repair it, by giving control of the machines to cybercriminals who decide to exploit them.
