Cable car accident leaves 28 injured in Lisbon | World

The derailment of an electric tramway injured 28 people in Lisbon on Friday night (14), in the neighborhood of Lapa.

According to witnesses, the vehicle failed to stop in a turn and overturned. The tram was completely destroyed.

The wounded were transported to the hospital, including a six-month-old baby and a seven-year-old child. Officials say that there are no seriously ill victims.
