Niantic announced the Pokemon Go holiday event in 2018. In a message posted on the official Pokemon Go website, the company revealed that this event would run from December 18 to January 2 and include multi-step rewards . From December 18th to the 22nd, players will earn twice as much Candy, then double the Stardust round from December 22nd to 26th and twice as much XP from December 26th to the 30th.
Finally, from December 30 to January 2, the incubators will see their eggs hatch twice as fast. Throughout the event, players will receive a free single egg incubator daily.
The event will also bring back the Pokemon Delibird as well as Pikachu wearing a Santa hat, as well as new clothes at the game store.
