A 4.4 thousand year old tomb has just been discovered in Egypt.

This is the final resting place of a high priest.

The tomb was found in a pyramid in the Saqqara complex near the capital, Cairo.

It has been preserved and never sacked.

"During the excavations, we leave a last layer of debris," said Mostafa Wazari, secretary general of the country's Supreme Council of Antiquities.

"When we removed it two days ago, we found five new pbadages closed."

The walls are decorated with colorful statues and writings of Pharaoh.

The discovery is described as a unique fact in recent decades.

Authorities say more treasure can still be found on the site.
