The FIFA World Cup ™ application will take place on Thursday 20 November at Salão Nobre das Laranjeiras. The injunction was issued by the president's lawyer, Fernando Setembrino, in the afternoon of Tuesday. The argument was that Fernando Leite, chairman of the deliberating Council, allegedly violated article 26 of the club's statute by changing the members of the Disciplinary Affairs Committee, which had voted in favor of dismissal.

However, according to the magistrate, the change of membership was duly explained by Leite and therefore the thesis is invalid.

In order for Pedro Abad to be effectively dismissed, it is imperative that the indictment be followed by a minimum of 150 persons, in accordance with Fluminense's status. To be approved, the request requires 2/3 of the votes face to face. If this happens, vice Cacá Cardoso will take the place. However, with the resignation of the latter, Fernando Leite himself will do so, albeit temporarily and with the obligation to call new elections within 45 days.
